Open for Referrals This Holiday Season

As the holiday season approaches, many healthcare facilities reduce their services or close entirely, making it challenging for patients to access the care they need. However, Kellyville Private Hospital is committed to ensuring that quality mental health care remains accessible during this busy time of year. We are pleased to announce that we will be open for referrals throughout the holiday season.

Inpatient Mental Health Programs

The holiday season, while often a time of celebration, can present significant challenges for people with mental health disorders. Increased stress, social pressures, and the prevalence of substances during this period can lead to heightened risks of relapse or a case of the 'Holiday Blues'. Kellyville Private has tailored programs available to patients during the festive period:

  • Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)
  • Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
  • Mindfulness
  • Art Therapy
  • Tai Chi
  • Horticulture
  • Martial Arts
  • A visit from our Therapy Dog
  • 'About Meds' (patient education session) with Dr. Tanveer Ahmed

Day Programs

We will continue to accept and monitor referrals throughout the festive season. Please continue to send your referrals as normal and we'll book patients into the next available group.

How to refer

Our inpatient and day programs provide an excellent pathway for early access to a Psychiatrist.
