As part of our ongoing commitment to General Practitioner and Health Professional education, Kellyville Private Hospital holds regular educational events throughout the year.
Aurora Healthcare is committed to raising community awareness about mental health, and educating health professionals about treatment options and referral pathways.
We regularly host information events for health professionals, with attendance certificates and Royal Australian College of General Practitioners' (RACGP) Quality Improvement and Continuing Professional Development (QI&CPD) hours awarded.

Managing Mental Health Complexity in General Practice: Addiction, BPD and Risk of Harm
Join us on Thursday 26 March, 6:30–9:00pm at Peppers The Hills Lodge, Castle Hill for a practical and engaging CPD event designed to support GPs and health professionals managing complex mental‑health presentations.
This small-group rotating dinner discussions event is delivered by psychiatrists Dr Farideh Absalan and Dr Paran Nadeswaran and addictions specialist Dr Prasun Datta.
Topics include:
- Assessing Risk of Harm to Others: Early Warning Signs and Practical Responses
- Opioids and Poly-Substance Use: Emerging Trends
- Managing High-Intensity Presentations: A BPD-Focused Approach
The event includes Education Activity (EA) and a post‑event quiz for Measuring Outcomes (MO), offering a comprehensive CPD opportunity focused on improving confidence and clinical decision‑making in complex mental‑health care.
