Professional background
Dr Dhaval Dani completed his psychiatry training in NSW. He is a fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists and has completed a Certificate of Addiction Psychiatry. He is also a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych) UK. While in training, he was regularly involved in teaching junior doctors and was also the network’s registrar committee president.
Dr Dani works with clients 18 years and above. He has a special interest in treating substance use disorders. He has experience working with Australian Defence Force (ADF), Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA) and WorkCover clients. In addition to his private practice, Dr Dani also works as a Visiting Medical Officer at a public hospital. Dr Dani is fluent in Hindi, Gujarati and Marathi.
