ACT

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is ideal for individuals aiming to overcome anxiety, depression, or stress. Tailored for those pursuing personal growth and aligning their lives with their values, particularly those open to utilising mindfulness and acceptance for transformative change.

ADHD

Ideal for individuals diagnosed with ADHD seeking structured support and practical strategies to manage symptoms, improve focus, and enhance daily functioning. Suitable for adults and adolescents motivated to learn and apply new skills in a supportive environment.

CBT

Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) is tailored for individuals aiming to manage symptoms of anxiety, depression, or stress by developing practical skills to overcome negative thinking patterns. Ideal for those ready to take proactive steps towards better mental health and well-being.

DBT - Foundations

Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) is ideal for individuals experiencing intense emotions, or difficulty managing relationships, seeking practical skills to improve emotional regulation and interpersonal effectiveness. Designed for those motivated to learn and apply DBT techniques in their daily lives. 

DBT - Masterclass

Designed for individuals who have completed foundational Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) training and are familiar with core concepts, seeking advanced strategies for managing complex emotions and situations. Tailored for those desiring deeper exploration and application of DBT techniques.

DBT - Young Adult

Tailored for young adults aged 16-22 managing intense emotions, impulsive behaviours, or relationship difficulties, seeking practical strategies and support to navigate life's challenges with resilience. Designed for those motivated to champion emotional regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, and mindfulness. 

Dual Diagnosis

Tailored for individuals experiencing substance abuse or addiction alongside a mental health condition, seeking comprehensive support and treatment for dual diagnosis concerns. Designed for those motivated to overcome addiction and improve mental health and well-being, with practical strategies for recovery.

OCD

Ideal for individuals experiencing obsessive thoughts and compulsive behaviours that disrupt daily functioning, seeking practical strategies and support to manage symptoms. Tailored for those motivated to learn and apply new coping skills, and seeking relief from the distress caused by OCD.

Trauma Skills

Tailored for individuals who have experienced trauma and are grappling with symptoms of PTSD, seeking practical strategies and support. Designed for those motivated to learn and apply coping skills in a supportive environment, with a desire to regain a sense of safety, stability, and well-being in their lives.

Women’s Wellbeing

Our Women’s Wellness Group is designed for women seeking a holistic approach to improve their overall well-being. This program focuses on integrating mental, emotional, and physical health through a structured 10-week curriculum. Ideal for those committed to enhancing their life balance and personal growth.

YA Intensive

Designed for young adults (16-23) facing mental health challenges like anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation seeking intensive support and guidance for personal growth. Tailored for those aiming to develop essential life skills and coping strategies for a successful transition into adulthood. 

Creative Therapies

This program is useful for people who enjoy creative expression and find it helps them to improve their mental health.

Patients interested in attending the day program will need to call the allied health department on 1300 122 144 (option 3) or contact groups at kvl.groups@aurorahealth.com.au

How much does it cost?

Patients are admitted as a day patient. Depending on their level of cover, they may be able to claim their attendance under their health fund. We ask that patients confirm any applicable out-of-pocket excess or gap costs directly with Kellyville Private Hospital. For patients without health fund coverage, a cost of $306 per session applies.
