Treatment for Addictive Disorders
If you have an addictive disorder, it is important you access resources, education and clinical support to help you on the road to recovery.
Inpatient treatment
Our hospital offers treatment of addiction and mental health issues that often go hand-in-hand.
We provide relapse prevention and lifestyle management strategies, and discuss the skills, techniques and strategies needed to understand and manage dependency disorders.
Our specialised treatment for addiction addresses the root causes of the disease, including:
- Low self-esteem
- Anger
- Sadness
- Guilt/shame
- Abuse or trauma
- Abandonment (emotional or physical)
Day programs
Phoenix
This program is run by a multidisciplinary treatment team. It aims to assist patients diagnosed with both substance use other mental health disorders to better manage their moods and change addictive behaviours. The program combines evidence based interventions such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT),, Dialectical behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), relapse prevention and motivational enhancement. Each session offers group educational sessions and practice of key strategies and skills with a focus on mood management, relapse prevention, life skills and building supports
When is it held?
Monday - 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm (eleven weeks)
Tuesday - 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm (eleven weeks)

How much does it cost?
Patients are admitted as a day patient. Depending on their level of cover, they may be able to claim their attendance under their health fund. We ask that patients confirm any applicable out-of-pocket excess or gap costs directly with Kellyville Private Hospital. For patients without health fund coverage, a cost of $288 per session applies.
